Deadly emotions that can take you out quickly if you don't fight them first.

Assassins was designed around the visual style of the show Into The Badlands. I really like the motion comic style of their opener, so I referenced that and many other Asian inspired themes. Color palette, shape, and form were important factors in the design. Due to the incredible time constraints on this animation (1 1/2 days) I did everything in Blender's real time render engine EEVEE. All renders were sent straight into editing as is, bypassing my usual process of After Effects integration. I modeled all weapons, props and environments. I used a combination of Mixamo and Adobe Fuse to create and animate the characters quickly. I built out a Kitbash file that had around 20 animated moves for each character and all assets so that I could pull them in quickly. Once I had Character movements pulled in I pushed and stretched key frames to re-time some movements as the characters interacted in the scenes. The only thing I wish I had polished was the text style. I would still add a consistent texture and better font style.
